Echidne brought up something that I was thinking earlier today, and since she said it, and I thought it, it must mean there is something to it.
The politics the past couple of days are really boring.
I don't know what it is, but everywhere I read, I don't seem to find anything that interests me in the least, or gets my body temperature up or even makes me wanna just copy and paste something that someone else wrote.
And it isn't that I'm having trouble writing in general, because I'm doing ok with other stuff, but I can't get too worked up about the politics. You know what I'll bet it is? We were all gearing up for this amazing showdown on the Senate floor last week, and were left highly unsatisfied in our bloodlust when the powers that be prematurely hesitated enough to push the real fight off for a few months.
I don't know about you all, but I think we need a steel-cage match.

I have felt that way since soon after the election. Nothing has really pissed me off or excited me since then. I kind of feel like I'm an 8th grader on the playground watching the 6th graders and thinking, "That is just SO dumb."

Actually, I saw that post yesterday and disagreed. I've found it really interesting lately, if only because watching the inner discord erupt within the GOP is something I find highly entertaining.

That's been interesting for the past month or so, I agree Vernoica. Something about this week has made it hard for me to get fired up about anything, though.
