For those of you with Showtime, who have been waiting for them to put out a decent show (and no, I'm not talking about "The L Word". Semi-literate dialog sprinkled with women making out, that was bound to be a moderate success), might I suggest you try Huff. Its not out of this world, but it is one of those shows that is worth watching. Hank Azaria shows a relaxed naturalism that he's never really been given the opportunity to display. Blythe Danner is sarcastic and shallow, and it is perfect for the role.
It is smart and real. It has its flaws (the characters tend to jump moods a bit in a way that makes the narrative a bit disjointed, and there have been a few resolutions to major plot lines that have been resolved a bit to quickly. The main conflict that started the series has all but disappeared; they might as well have fixed social security in a single episode), but it is supremely watchable.
Anyway, you might wanna give it a try.
