I think I just found out what it is like to be an actually widely-read blog. Thanks to the award nomination, my hits have just about tripled for the past couple of days.
And then Brad DeLong (who's name I've seen thrown into some of the big boy's blogs before) linked to the post I wrote about 'The Fog of War' and suddenly I have the number of hits in one day that I normally get in a week.
What on earth am I going to do with all this new-found notoriety. I'm sure I'll piss it away and buckle under the pressure of "having to perfom", but it is nice to know that, for a couple of days, this blog is getting noticed.
