I'm very excited because I was able to get Thursday off. This is good for two reasons. The first is that, without having thursday off, I wouldn't have had a shift off until this coming Sunday, which would have added up to 11 days in a row without a day off, two of which were 12 hour days. So, at least now I get to break up my week a little bit and have a rest in the middle. Had to give up my Sunday day off to do it, but that is ok.
The second, and more exciting reason I'm happy is because Alyson is having her birthday soiree that day and now I get to go! This is good for several reasons, not the least of which is that I'll get to meet her (and probably a few other people who I know, virtually, but haven't really met)... anyway... I'm very excited.
So, to all who will be there, I'll see you then! And those who won't be there, then, um, this post is probably pretty boring.
